Showed up quick with 5 boxes. Seemed like it was going to be a tuff install but was fairly easy. Two persons job for getting the frame up but I was able to do it solo with some creative solutions. Louvers keep the rain out and gutter system works great. Time will tell but happy overall
Love it, definitely get the warranty because some pieces came up missing in the packaging and or dented and damaged. I believe the warranty helped in getting and replacing pieces easily.
It has taken me sometime to post this review because I was waiting for some parts to be delivered. They weren't major items, but I wanted to make sure I had everything, and it worked before posting. The Pergola is beautiful and was very easy to assemble. I did have one section that did not line up correctly but was able to adjust it and make it fit. It took me six hours one day to assemble the main sections and then another six hours the next day to assemble the unit completely with help from my son-in-law. The unit came in eight boxes that are clearly marked. You do have to search the boxes for the instructions but when you find them, they are clear and easy to follow.
Is sturdy and well made. One roof slat had to be filed a bit. One tiny screw got stripped but we just added some of the black construction adhesive. The box numbering was confusing, but we got it put together in about 6 hours with 3 people. Happy with my purchase!
Due to the price, it took me a year to finally decide to make this purchase. I decided on this model because of other reviews stating that the louvre installation is not as tedious as others. The louvre install was a breeze. The total install took about 12 hours over the course of 3 days. I did a lot of the install by myself. The height is about 7ft so I increased the height by putting landscaping pavers inside of planters & installing the post on the pavers than securing it with sand & pebbles. I love how it turned out.
I did have 2 parts arrive damaged, however the seller was very responsive & willing to make the issues right. Receipt of the replacement parts took about 2 weeks. Which was the only downside. Since the instructions is ONLY pictures, I had questions & requested clearer photos & the seller quickly provided me with the additional pictures. I must say, customer service was excellent.
My suggestion for anyone that purchases this is to read the reviews for tips (especially regarding the netting & curtains) the curtains & netting are installed like a L on the 4 corners. Meaning 1 curtain goes on both the length & width sides on each corner. Pay attention to the pictures. I did & still had a few user errors during my install. Lastly, enjoy your beautiful pergola.
