The overall quality of the product is OK, but the installation process is a bit of a headache. Although the instructions are very detailed, in actual operation, I found that some parts did not match well, and the screw holes were slightly deviated, which resulted in repeated adjustments during installation, wasting a lot of time. In addition, the product may have been squeezed during transportation, and it was found to be slightly deformed when it was received. Although it does not affect the use, it does not look very beautiful.
We are very happy with this purchase. It is a lot to put together but well worth the time and money. Customer service is top notch. We had a couple problems with the order and the company replied and fixed the issue immediately within the say day! You don't get that service often.
The weld job on Part #R is bad, the round pin that connects to the louvers is not parallel, it needs to be in order to line up and control the opening and closing of the louvers. In the pic you'll see a good one on the right and the bad one on the left. I would like this part to be replaced right away, the defective part is holding me up from completing the installation.
This is a great item. Very skeptical but we love it. We had an unusual deck space. To get a screened in porch, contractors were $$ and didn't want to do the job, due to the three roof angles. Could not find a way to put something that would drain correctly and not down the front of our windows or block all the light. This was an amazing compromise. Works great. Draining system is key. We lucked out, the the measurements didnt block our windows at all. It stays dry, and we have had terenchal down pours. We did go around and use clear silicone chalking at all the seams to prevent any small dripping at the seams. The only cons we have are: 1. The netting and curtains need labeled. Tough to figure out what goes where. 2. The adhesive sealant that is provided is white. We bought the grey look, so the white looked bad. Overall, easy to put up. Approximately 6 hours with 2-3 people. Would recommend.
We just installed this a few months ago and it is going great. This was pretty easy to install but did take some time to assemble. I was able to complete this with help only at certain points of the process. The size is great and everything is working as it should. It seems sturdy and has held up well in a couple storms we have had.
